Asus is preparing to launch the Zenfone 8 series on 12 May. The smartphone series is believed to include at least two models - Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip. Ahead of its official launch, the full specifications of Zenfone 8 have been leaked online.
According to Lekster Mukul Sharma, the Asus Zenfone 8, also known as the Zenfone 8 mini, will be equipped with a 5.9-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and a fingerprint reader. Lexter added that the phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, combined with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will have a 4000 mAh battery with 30W support for fast charging.

In the photo section, the Zenfone 8 mini has a 64 megapixel main sensor on the back. The combination includes a 12 megapixel wide-angle sensor and a macro sensor. There's a 12 megapixel selfie camera on the front of the Zenfone 8. According to the leaked phone, it provides EIS for both cameras. Other camera functions are 8K and 4K slow motion with 120 frames per second.
The Asus Zenfone 8 offers HiFi audio playback via the headphone jack and two speakers and is available with linear vibration. The smartphone is reportedly also available with OZO audio support. The phone's connectivity options are USB Type C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 5G support, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 6.On the software front, it runs on ZenUI 8, based on Android 11. Reuters
